Two Roundtables 13th Fair “Days of Plum Prozor-Rama 2018”

Within the 13th Fair Days of Plum 2018, on Tuesday 18th of September were held interesting roundtables and worthy of all attention. Both roundtables were held in the premises of the Secondary School Prozor. The first one was held with the topic of “Processing fruit, vegetables, and herbs. At the beginning of the round table in the name of the organization of the fair in the Municipality Prozor-Rama, Josip Juricic, assistant mayor, welcomed all present. He expressed gratitude that there is an occasion where you can hear experiences on how to step forward towards the market.
About the agricultural production in the Municipality of Prozor-Rama spoke Mr.sc. Stipo Čuljak.
Mira Jović, executive director of the Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers Žepče spoke about ways and patterns of networking and organization and the transfer of knowledge and experience in the market.
Bernardica Barbarić, a master of nutrition technology, spoke about the processing of fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
The second roundtable presented the results of the project “Development of tourism on three lakes,” Prozor-Rama, Jablanica, and Posušje. In the implementation of this project, tourism service providers from the area of Prozor-Rama participated through the activity “Mapping tourist resources” and through workshops “Strengthening awareness of the potential of tourism resources and development of tourist offer” and “Improving tourism services.” The primary objective of the project is the development of sustainable tourism in the area of three lakes, with a focus on tourism for young people, camping, sports, events, and gastronomy.
On behalf of the Prozor-Rama Local Development Agency, participants were addressed by Danijel Burečić. Tomislav Majić, president of the Entrepreneurship and Business LINK Mostar highlighted the essential features of the project and a more detailed presentation of the implemented activities on the implementation of the project was presented by expert associate Majda Penava.
The public will soon be able to see video material prepared during project implementation. The website will be released soon as well, which will be regularly updated with tourist, cultural and other exciting events in the area of Prozor-Rama, Jablanica, and Posušje.
